The first two days were actually very difficult. I didn't realize how hooked I was. I ended up deleting all social apps and hid everything except for important communication apps like text/phone/email. I only left notifications on for text. I answer emails, browse Substack, and any other activity on the laptop. Setting aside an hour a day for this. So far I've see no reason the change. And to think I lived all those years without this technology...
Would love to hear more about the detox and the guidelines you used!
More importantly, I'm loving the new track! It feels ominous, which seems timely.
sent you an email : )
Received and thank you!!
Great track! I like the slightly dissonant groovy piano line. Is there both sampled and recorded drum parts? Thotz and prayerz!
Thank you, sir. I can always use more thoughts and less prayers. I programmed the drums in Logic.
Tell us more about your Digital Detox please! I'm always looking for new ways to use less tech.
One of the best years of my life was the year my laptop broke all I had to waste time with was my mind, a guitar and a pen and paper.

It is mighty addictive, and insidious. I've tried to do an internet fast several times, and failed!
The class sounds incredible!
It truly is, I've learned so much.
Amazing work. Your dedication to the assignment is inspiring! Thanks for sharing a bit of your detox refection.
