MOST LISTENED TO ALBUMS AND TRACKS OF 2022

It’s that time again—the end of the year best of album and song lists. 

I find end of the year lists to be fun, revealing, and informative. I’ve already discovered a few new bands from exploring some of these lists and hope to find more new music as my friends start sharing their selections. The one sour note regarding end of year lists—given the sheer volume of music at our fingertips—is how many music industry lists are coated with similar selections as if they all received the same memo. 

That being said… I didn’t get the memo and I’m joining in on the fun!

The most enjoyable aspect of assembling my lists was reliving the moments that contributed to building a soundtrack to my mental film of 2022. The lists below are not “Best of 2022” lists. My selections hold no rankings and not all were released in 2022. Instead, these selections are a musical journal, my most listened to albums and tracks that defined this year.
