Junior Kimbrough Remix

Many years ago I was approached by Fat Possum Records to do a remix of Junior Kimbrough’s Done Got Old. They sent me a DAT tape which consisted of just Junior and his guitar performing the song–the only source material that existed. It was a challenging project and an extremely rewarding experience. I was honored to be a part of it all and the remix was granted an approval by the estate of Junior Kimbrough.

Around that same time I was also working on a photography project of old men in Texas. It seemed fitting to assemble a handful of these images and set them to the Kimbrough remix.
