Marc Henry at Hen House Recording in Austin, TX just finished transferring the 2” tapes from the first two the grassy knoll albums into digital stems. The tapes have been in storage for over 25 years so I was thrilled to learn that everything transferred without any problems.

Just look at this gorgeous machine in action.

The plan is to repurpose the sounds to include in new compositions. Re-sampling and re-working my own sounds. A more detailed post regarding these tapes and the next project will be coming soon. I’m just so excited about finally getting the transfers completed that I wanted to share.
